IMPACT IMPLEMENTATION TEAM CERTIFICATION: LEVEL 1

ABOUT

COURSE DESCRIPTION

A ONE-OF-A-KIND LEARNING EXPERIENCE

Designed for educators by educators, this certification course is a one-of-a-kind learning experience designed to help leaders create lasting change and improvement in their school systems. In this course, you will learn why human and learning-centered design is critical in change and how to apply human and learning-centered design elements to current and future change efforts.

Certification Course Learning Outcomes : 

Day One:

​Through purposeful and engaging learning designs, participants will understand:

  • the critical components of shifting the culture, growing the implementers, and building deliberate developmental implementation (DDI) in your organization,

  • the high cost of non-implementation,

  • the importance of leveraging human and learning-centered design.

Day Two:

Through purposeful and engaging learning designs, participants will understand and engage in:

  • the essential components of developing effective and efficient implementation teams (why, what, who, when),

  • the theory and science of building a guiding coalition of champions (aka, the secret sauce!),

  • the processes and tools to empower implementation teams in the continuous improvement cycle, HOW to do the work (identify the problem, identify the solution, identify implementation strategies, design a monitoring plan),

  • how to develop your IMPACT Implementation Plan to support staff to and through ANY change initiative.

Day Three:

Through purposeful and engaging learning designs, participants will:

  • co-create an implementation plan that meets certification standards.

  • receive feedback and coaching from facilitators and peers while developing the plan (formative assessment)

  • present approved implementation plan to peers and facilitators.

  • participate in the Awards Ceremony of Certification

  • EAT CAKE!

  • Change Theory Models

  • Team meeting agendas and tools 

  • Understand and use the IMPACT Implementation Framework

  • Design your IMPACT Implementation Plan

  • Receive, Knowledge Translation Tools

  • Understand and use readiness, fidelity, and monitoring tools

  • Incorporate human and learning-centered design elements into your change efforts.

 

Real-world examples and vignettes will support your learning in this highly interactive and engaging certification. Upon completion of this course, you will become certified to utilize IMPACT Lead & Succeed's Implementation Solutions. More importantly, you will be empowered with the high-leverage tools needed to make a difference in getting implementation done right and well for your school community.  IMPACT Lead & Succeed believes the best learning is active and engaging, so this is a learning-by-doing course. Be prepared to engage in learning designs that stimulate rigorous learning and collaboration, behavior rehearsals, demonstrations,  and reflection time. You will design and present an implementation plan that meets IMPACT Performance Rubric Standards to colleagues and IMPACT Specialists.

And...while the learning will be rigorous, the three days will be filled with fun, uplifting events. We know that learning together and having fun together is better, so we have a number of special activities planned for you to meet with and connect with the presenters and attendees.
