Kim Elliot-Padgitt
Activator of Instructional Excellence, Health Sciences High & Middle College
Kimberly is the Activator of Instructional Excellence at Health Sciences High & Middle College - a charter school in San Diego that provides students with a unique experince in the health care industry - and a doctoral students at the University of California, San Diego. She is currently obtaining her Master of Arts in Teaching degree in Language Arts with a focus on current knowledge in Reading and Language Arts. From 2010-2011 she earned a fellowship through the Univeristy of California, San Diego and San Diego State University's Cyberbridge program. In Cyberbridge, she and her team created a project that bridged technology and science for all core disciplines. In 2012, Kimerly was awarded a teacher fellowship through UCSD's Socrates program - a branch of UCSD's ScienceBridge. Kimberly also presents at literacy conferences to advocate for the use of technology to promote literacy in all subjects.
